On the 16th March senior leaders from the University of Iringa visited RLabs Tanzania as a step towards signing a formal partnership agreement. The team was excited to see the new developments at RLabs Tanzania.
“Although our journey with RLabs started many years ago, it’s now time to take our partnership to the next level. Partnering with an innovative community organisation as RLabs is a no-brainer for the University of Iringa whose goal is to serve the community better and more innovatively. Signing an MoU with RLabs Tanzania has been long overdue. I am glad this will happen soon”. Prof. Ndelilio Urio, Vice Chancellor, University of Iringa.
RLabs Tanzania has enjoyed a long collaboration with the University of Iringa since the inception of RLabs (originally as Iringa Living Labs) in 2012 when we held the first community innovation workshop at the University. Our joint work in the past has included development of the Bachelor of Applied Marketing and Enterprise (BAME) and Team Academy programmes as well as joint events including the Southern Highlands Innovation Week.
We share the aims of unlocking youth potential and enabling young people to lead innovation and enterprise in their communities.
