Iringa Living Lab was launched in 2012 under the TanzICT programme to develop innovative solutions to community problems.
In 2013, we were welcomed into the global RLabs family and registered RLabs Iringa as a community-based organisation, working largely voluntarily.
In 2019, RLabs Tanzania registered as an NGO to formalise and expand the programme.
RLabs' partners are championing our growth and success as one of the most promising innovation hubs in Tanzania.
We're thrilled to have the support of prominent Tanzanian and UK funders to help us expand our work including COSTECH, HDIF, Segal Family Foundation, Egmont Trust and Treebeard Trust.
A big thank you to our partners providing pro bono technical support including Barbarella Studios which designed the Youth Cafe and Goldfinger Factory supporting design in our Maker Space.
